and E Komo Mai!
a family owned business located in Long Beach, California.
It is headed by our Chief Tiki Carver, Dave. Island Tikis
was founded by sheer accident from the love for the art
of tiki making. From this love came the need to share
the spirit of Aloha with others through our tikis.
The spirit of Aloha also beckons us to lead people
back to the simplistic island culture. The simple life...
of our tikis are individually hand carved from coconut
palm by using a hammer and chisel. Each tiki is then burned
to bring out the details, stained, and finished with a
marine varnish. The tikis are then dried in a kiln oven
for a minimum of 30 days.
All items are unique, and no one tiki is exactly alike.
Each items may vary in size, shape, and color.
Please feel free to contact us to see if there is a tiki
we can make nau wale no, just for you.
